How do I apply FreezePruf? |
It may be applied at any temperature above freezing and will produce significant benefits as soon as plant surfaces dry. Spray liberally to entire plant. For best results, apply when the temperature is above 50˚F and a minimum of 8 to 12 hours before an anticipated freeze. FreezePruf may also be applied seasonally, in anticipation of future cold events within the upcoming 4 to 6 weeks. |

How often do I have to apply the spray? |
Under normal precipitation regimes FreezePruf will protect up to 4 to 6 weeks. During extremely rainy or snowy periods, it should be reapplied every few weeks to maintain optimal performance. For added protection, reapplyas new growth appears. |

Will FreezePruf harm my plants? |
Absolutely not. Rest assured there is NOTHING in FreezePruf that will harm or kill a plant – even if you applied it in full strength concentrate with no dilution!
Be sure you’re using a clean sprayer when mixing and spraying FreezePruf from concentrate! A friend of ours bought some FreezePruf concentrate and was all set to use it in her home pump sprayer – the same sprayer that she normally uses for her other garden care. She was unaware of the issue of cross contamination – there would be enough carry-over of an herbicide or other agent to potentially kill her plants. This is an otherwise knowledgeable person, but if I had not pointed out this problem to her she would not have been aware of it and could well have killed her plants. |

Is it safe for kids and pets? |
Yes, it’s an eco-safe, biodegradable product. When used as directed, it will cause no harm to humans, animals or the environment. All the ingredients in FreezePruf are either found in or used in the processing of food. |

I sprayed several of the same type of plant in my yard. FreezePruf protected all but one. Why didn’t it work on that plant? |
The minimum temp in the average residential yard can EASILY vary 3 to 5 degrees just within that yard, so unless treated plants are literally right next to one another there can be artifacts. AND, even folks who have standard thermometers in their yards can make errors – they come out at 7 AM and it’s 32 F, but the minimum temp was actually 28 F and it occurred at 4 AM. |

FreezePruf improves a plant’s cold tolerance up to 9.4 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on the variety of the plant. How can I know how it will protect my specific plant varieties? |
We’ve created (and continue to add to and refine) a chart that lists frost/freeze tolerance performance for common plants, with and without FreezePruf. It’s simply not possible to ‘warrant’ that a given plant will suffer no/minimal damage at exactly X degrees, even with FreezePruf – there are too many variables. |
